The graph above features a record of temperature readings taken outside the office of Advanced Information Networks in Christchurch, New Zealand. This graph is created dynamically from the latest data stored in an online database. Temperature readings are logged hourly and are sent to the web server at midnight each day, where they are stored in the database. If current data is required, an SMS message can be sent to the SMS Controller. This will send all readings logged from the last update to the time of the request to the web server for you to view online. The SMS Controller will also send an SMS with the current temperature to your mobile phone.

How To Try The Demo

Please email us at info@advancedinformation.net and we will send you the phone number of the SMS controller and the PIN number that must be sent to it for a response. You can then send an SMS message from your GSM mobile phone and you will receive a reply back with the current temperature and time of the reading. This will also update the web server with any hourly readings taken since the last update. You will be able to view this by refreshing this web page.
