ECAN Water data usage collection forum

Added by AIN News. May 15, 2005
ECAN Water take trial

Advanced Information recently participated in Environment Canterbury’s (ECAN) Water data usage collection forum. This was held on the 5th of May 2005 and follows on from the water usage telemetry trial that has been running over the last 6 months.

The objective of the forum was
‘To present information on the flow meters and data loggers so that we are all informed about the technology currently available to enable irrigators to comply with water and logger requirements in consent conditions’

Advanced Information Networks presented in the final session of the day on Dataloggers, Telemetry and Software Development. We were fortunate to have John Williams from M2M Tech in Auckland there to help us with our presentation. We have worked closely with John over the last 3 years providing monitoring systems to end-users. John was able to share relevant examples to the industry from systems at the Northland Council where he has installed XE8000 SMS Controllers.

The day went very well and I think those who attended it found it useful.

Custom graphing now available for AIN Data Logging Clients

Added by AIN News. December 02, 2004
Advanced Information Networks is pleased to announce that data logging clients can now generate custom graphical views of their logged data.

Advanced Information Networks allows devices to log data to the web from remote and mobile locations via GSM networks. In addition to AIN's XE8000 SMS Controller, other devices are logging data via our Machine to Web Gateway. Clients are able to access this data online from a web browser and can download logged data to view in a spreadsheet or for offline manipulation and reporting. Clients using the web data logging service can now also login to the client area to see graphs of latest data and to generate graphs for specific time periods.

Several other changes have been made to the client area to improve usability and navigation and to incorporate suggestions from some of our clients.

We thank our clients for their feedback and welcome your comments on these new changes and any further suggestions.
